American Wild Horse Conservation (AWHC) is the nation's champion for humane, in-the-wild protection of wild horses and burros on our public lands. Over the past decade, AWHC has grown from a determined grassroots movement into a powerful force for wild horse conservation.

By reforming outdated policies and protecting the landscapes these animals call home, we are setting a new conservation standard for wild horse and burro protection to ensure we keep America’s promise made to wild horses and burros over 50 years ago.
